The once unusable swamp in front of the shelter is almost complete – we’ve lovingly renovated the once un-usable swampy mess into  a beautiful tranquil space that will feature a beautiful new pond – with seating and area for meet and greets, volunteer orientations, tours of the shelter for kids groups such as the Girl Scouts and will be a place for people and pets to enjoy once complete. The project is constantly evolving and is a huge work in progress.
